Lawrence Kudria

Lawrence Kudria is a Ukrainian-born media artist whose practice is grounded in artistic and technological research into perception, embodiment, and relational experience. Working with immersive and interactive media, he develops XR-based works (VR, AR, MR), multi-sensory installations, and participatory environments that foreground the body as a primary site of knowledge and encounter. His practice critically engages with technology not as visual spectacle, but as an experiential framework through which sensory awareness, affect, and co-presence are activated.

Drawing on a background in immersive design and interactive systems, Kudria’s work investigates how mediated environments can generate conditions of intimacy, trust, and shared vulnerability. Through carefully structured sensory and spatial situations, he invites participants to reflect on the politics of perception, anonymity, and connection, proposing alternative modes of engagement between self, technology, and the other.
